Food Pantry

Home Delivered Meals:  During the months of February, May, August and November, Edgerton volunteers deliver meals to Senior Citizens of Selma from 11:00 - 12:00 noon.  This is a much needed ministry and we are always looking for volunteers.

Support Local Schools:  

Minister to Shut-ins:  During the school year, our church participates in a book bag program providing food and basic supplies for children in the Selma area. 

Project AGAPE:  A once a year church - wide project that takes place in November through the guidance of The United Methodist Church.  Shoe boxes are filled with toys and goodies and donated to orphaned children in need in Armenia.

Praise Team:  The Adult Praise Team is made up of college age and older adults who enjoy praising and worshiping through singing and playing instruments at the 8:30 am service every Sunday.  We sing and play contemporary style praise and worship music. Rehearsals are 7:45 - 8:30 pm on Wednesdays as well as 7:30 - 8:30 am on Sundays.  There is a prayer time at which prayer concerns and praises are sharedAnyone is welcome to join at any timeContact Brittany Pence for more information at brittany.pence@yahoo.com 

Adult Choir: Our 11:00 am service has an Adult Choir.   If anyone has a desire to share God's Word through song, practice is on Sunday after the service and on Wednesday evenings at 6:30PM.  Feel free to drop on by and join us! 

Children's Choir:  All children from ages 3 to 10 are invited to join the children's choir.  Practices begin September 11th, Sunday at 5:00.  Bring your friends!

Prayer:   We have an email prayer request contact who sends out the prayer needs to those wishing to receive notices by email. There is also a Phone prayer chain.  We are grateful to all who participate in these ministries.

Arms Around Selma:  Every year in November, the Selma Area Ministerial Association hosts a community-wide clean-up and repair day.  Edgerton, along with churches in the community, participate in this great ministry.  More information will be sent out about Arms Around Selma soon!
